Challenge: The marketing team was tasked with increasing the level of creativity in our department, providing a great opportunity for elevated creative assets. I identified a large gap in our email communication, as only headers, some images, and occasional footers were included.
Approach: To create a more visually appealing and eye-catching asset, I chose to utilize full color. A paradigm shift, the platform Constant Contact and various email clients presented a few challenges. First, how will the artwork transition seamlessly from header to background to footer? Next, as some contacts choose to block images for safety, maintaining copy in the body of the email was a must. How do I keep important info above the fold while also featuring eye-catching visuals?
Results: The result was a beautiful marketing touchpoint that grabs and maintains attention, allows for easy scanning and digestion, and provides clear calls to action. I enhanced the customer experience in a visually impactful way while maintaining important info above the fold and accounting for various email clients and image settings.
